FIT facilitates lifestyle change, supporting decision making and motivating healthy behaviours. It improves mental health, using personalised imagery techniques to stabilise mood, disrupt unhelpful cycles of thinking, and empower positive change.
FIT uses dialogue and imagery to explore how things are now and how they could be better in the future. Possible solutions are tried out in imagery, using memories of past successes to overcome anticipated obstacles. Clients learn how to use imagery to stay motivated as their goals change.
